In this study (N = 170), we examined whether exposure to human anatomy positive and entertaining parody (vs. body perfect) imagery would be regarded as critiques of slim human body beliefs, would generate photo-based activity by means of “likes”, and would definitely impact ladies’ human anatomy image. Results showed that both body positivity and humorous parody images elicited more “likes” and had been regarded as critiquing slim body requirements significantly more than human body ideal pictures. Moreover, ladies body pleasure and good feeling were higher after experience of human anatomy positivity and humorous parody in comparison to exposure to body ideal images. Females subjected to humorous parody also reported less drive for thinness. These conclusions prove that both human body positivity and entertaining parody can be considered critiques that improve body picture.The cortical column is one of the fundamental computational circuits within the mind. While histological methods can reveal ground truth they may not be a practical means of pinpointing cortical layers in vivo. The gold standard for identifying laminar compartments in electrophysiological tracks is current-source thickness (CSD) analysis.
